SCULPTURES FOR GLOBE RESTAURANT, LAWRENCE
Fifty maple leaves sculpted from crushed and powdered glass through the process of casting . Each leaf is 7 inches inches in height and 9 inches in width. Each leaf is suspended by stainless steel threads from a structural wood frame. The colors of the leaves are derived from nature and also from the cuisine of the culture. “ Eat with your eyes” is the expression the artist is working with.
