New York Fashion Week is the highlight of the fashion industry each season. It’s where the industry meets and where established and emerging designers display their latest work for discerning and judgmental eyes.

This year international designers will be joining the presentation. The “Maarkah” event is meant to highlight international designers during the major fashion industry event that is New York Fashion Week. It will display the work of designers from faraway lands such as India, Egypt, Russia, and Australia.

The event will be held on September 9th & 10th, with the top names in international fashion displaying their current collections at the Museum of The City Of New York. The collections will consist of both haute couture and sportswear. There will also be a portion for “Modest Wear” highlighting clothing that is more conservative in nature, and that caters to a more religious crowd. There will be a panel discussion about the topic, featuring models, and other influencers.

Maarkah means “brand” in numerous languages, and the top brands from around the world will be participating. The event provides an opportunity for established and emerging international designers to showcase their talents for fashion industry insiders.

My sculptures are a cornucopia of planes, textures, tonalities, resonances, moods, emotions, morality, chaos and more. And finally, my sculptures are the voice of color. Color is fundamental to the human spirit. It alleviates, invigorates, humanizes us. . . and I let it serenade. - Hasna Sal“My sculptures are a cornucopia of planes, textures, tonalities, resonances, moods, emotions, morality, chaos and more.
